I invite you to enjoy Episode 1 of the “Podcast Singular” featuring Eric Nelson, Susan Lombardi-Verticelli, and yours truly. Each episode reviews the nominees for the coveted Grammy Award for Record of the Year which honors a commercially released single or track during an eligibility period. In each episode we review the nominees, share our individual perspectives for each song, and then share what should have been nominated as well as what should have won. 1995’s nominees include “One Sweet Day” (Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men); “Waterfalls (TLC); “One of Us” (Joan Osborne); “Gangsta’s Paradise” (Coolio); and “Kiss from a Rose” (Seal). The eligibility period was for music released from October 1, 1994-September 1995.
